1. Membership
A membership is an annual subscription to TowGuard's towing and roadside assistance services. It starts when payment is confirmed and runs for the term shown on the plan. The included towing allowance is granted at the start of each term, is personal to the member's registered vehicles, and does not roll over.
2. Included tows and charges
An included tow is consumed only when a towing job is completed. Mileage beyond the plan's coverage distance, out-of-area pickups, special vehicle handling, after-hours service (for paid tows) and roadside add-ons are charged at the rates shown in the estimate at the time of the request. Requests that require payment are dispatched once payment has been confirmed by our payment provider.
3. Cancellations and refunds
Members may cancel a request online until the driver reaches the pickup location. Membership cancellations take effect at the end of the paid term; pending or scheduled terms are canceled immediately and refunds are processed by our finance team in accordance with the refund policy.
4. Renewal
Memberships with automatic renewal enabled are charged to the saved payment method at the end of the term after a reminder. If the charge fails, coverage continues through the grace period while the member updates their payment details.
5. Contractors
Towing services are performed by independent contractors verified by TowGuard. TowGuard dispatches, tracks and settles jobs but is not the operator of the tow trucks.
6. Liability
